YÖDAK’s Message on Teachers’ Day
As the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK), we wholeheartedly celebrate the 24 November Teachers’ Day of all our teachers, who have always been and will continue to be the architects of our future.
A society’s progress in science, culture and civilization is only possible through an education system grounded in knowledge, reason and ethical values. Our teachers, who work with great dedication and who impart not only knowledge but also thinking skills, values, principles and vision to their students, hold an essential role in the development of our country and in the strengthening of our higher education system.
Today, we respectfully pay tribute to all teachers serving now and, in the past, as well as all education professionals who shape society through their efforts, contributions and commitment to quality in education.
The valuable contributions of our teachers at every level of education constitute one of the fundamental forces that enhance the quality of higher education.
Inspired by the words of the Head Teacher Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, “Teachers, the new generation will be your masterpiece,” we move forward with the determination to work together to protect the dignity, quality and future of the teaching profession.
On this meaningful day, we wish all our teachers a healthy and successful professional life and express our gratitude for the invaluable contributions they make to education.
