TÜBİTAK PRESIDENT VISITED YÖDAK

TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal visited YÖDAK. TÜBİTAK President Prof. attended the meeting held at YÖDAK. Dr. Hasan Mandal, YÖDAK president Prof. Dr. Turgay Avcı, YÖDAK members Prof. Dr. Uncle Hasan, Prof. Dr. Zafer Ağdelen, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Uzunboylu, Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan and Prof. Dr. Ali Ünyayar, Ministry of National Education Higher Education and Foreign Relations Department Director Behçet Çelebi and BSEC expert Gülsüm Gözenler also attended.

At the meeting, the issues that need to be done to create new motivation and support for increasing the research capacity of TRNC universities, which has been stagnant since 2014, were discussed. A consensus was reached to determine the project topics originating from TRNC together with YÖDAK, MEB and universities and to inform and encourage scientists who will work in this field. It was also discussed that work should be initiated on the immediate establishment of Technology Transfer Offices and Project Support Offices in universities.
